The association maintains 2 moorings for the use of visitors. The moorings are suitable for vessels up to 10 tonnes, and are located a short distance to the North of the end of the pontoon. One has a large Red float and the other has a yellow can float. Both have blue pickup buoys. These moorings are maintained by the association’s mooring contractor and are checked annually. Use of the visitor moorings is not recommended in strong WSW winds.

The charge for using the visitor moorings is currently £10 per night, which includes use of the mooring and short term use of the pontoon. Payment should be put in the honesty box at the top of the pontoon. Cheques should be made payable to Strachur Bay Moorings Association.
