Strachur Bay Moorings Association was formed in June 2006 and became a Scottish registered charity in September 2016 (Scottish Charity No. SC 046867). Our charitable purposes are the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities.
At present we manage 32 moorings, two of which are reserved for visiting boats. The Association also manages a short stay landing pontoon.
Our area is centred on Strachur Bay in Upper Loch Fyne, Argyll and we have authority from the Crown Estate to administer moorings on either side of this on the Strachur side of the loch.
